New revised updated edition by the son, with new colour illustrations by Harry Furniss. Beautiful heavily embossed blue cloth , with gilt designs to cover and spine. Octavo. This classic work on the more ridiculous and humorous side of the British LEGAL system reprinted here after a 40 year gap. The writer was a London Barrister as was his father who wrote the original in 1846
