Background: For the 30th anniversary of the release of The Dark Side of the Moon, EMI went back to the original master tapes and mixed a new two track master tape, as the original master tapes had long been worn out from excessive use. The LP was then pressed on high quality 180 gram vinyl and packaged with all of the original inserts. The result is, in our opinion, the best sounding version of The Dark Side of the Moon we’ve ever heard.
